This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Enhance the Company’s sales of orthopedic surgical products by delivering clinical and logistical expertise in hospitals and operating rooms.
• Provide independent guidance and assistance to surgeons in the operating room, offering clinical and technical support for orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Act as the primary Company representative during surgeries, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available and functioning correctly.
• Utilize independent judgment to troubleshoot and respond to physician needs and customer inquiries.
• Manage hospital billing and facilitate the creation and closure of purchase orders.
• Convey insights about customers, procedures, and the marketplace to sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.
• Prepare necessary sales reports and documentation.
• Offer consultation for the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department.
• Track, maintain, and effectively deploy equipment and assets throughout the designated area.
• Ensure that product availability and promotional materials are kept in an organized and presentable condition.
• Guarantee that DePuy Synthes services and offerings adhere to high quality standards.
• Transport instruments, implants, and equipment between sales representatives and hospitals.
• Work under close management supervision while collaborating closely with Sales Consultants.
• Provide support to territories as needed throughout the assigned area and travel within the U.S. as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree, or an Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, or at least 4 years of professional experience, or a recent transition from Active Military Duty.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. as needed, including frequent overnight and/or weekend trips.
• Reside in or have the ability to relocate to a geographic region designated by the Company.
• Capability to work in a lab or operating room setting.
• Possess a valid driver's license issued in the United States.
• Strong interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Experience in data analysis is required.
• Results-oriented with strong prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.
• Capability to function within a complex organization and team structure.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to understand, interpret, communicate, and operate in complex environments.
• Functional knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Basic understanding of surgical procedures.
• Preferred strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
