This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide clinical and strategic assistance to the Clinical Affairs Organization, emphasizing business unit technologies and therapeutic areas.
• Expedite clinical studies and enhance enrollment to impact trial and new technology approval timelines.
• Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Oversee the launch of new clinical sites.
• Identify clinical research partners and formulate strategic research partnership plans within the designated territory.
• Serve as the primary liaison for clinical trial sites.
• Propel patient enrollment and ensure that study milestones are achieved.
• Enhance KOL participation across study committees, publications, and conference presentations.
• Manage multi-cultural, multi-country relationships with clients and cross-functional internal teams.
• Collaborate with commercial leadership and other business units.
• Direct the implementation and debriefing of clinical research studies.
• Identify and establish new clinical research sites.
• Manage territory priorities, scheduling, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Lead clinical projects as an integral member of core teams.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer between clinical and commercial teams to achieve business unit goals and product launches.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clinical research procedures involving Abbott technologies.
• Engage in presentations, advisory boards, and special projects.
• Mentor and support FCS staff, with opportunities for direct-report management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, biological sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience in cardiology or clinical research.
• At least 9 years of progressively responsible relevant clinical experience in the cardiovascular domain.
• Nationally recognized as a leader or expert in the field.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including potential international travel.
• Proven experience in engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and managing clinical research sites.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
• Competence in handling challenging conversations with multi-country, multi-cultural physicians and cross-functional partners.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities within a territory.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and experience in mentoring or managing people.
