This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all commercial activities within the assigned North Central sales region.
• Drive the expansion of Calyxo’s kidney stone treatment sector by engaging urologists, securing facility approval for Calyxo products, establishing patient access, and promoting safe and effective product use.
• Work in tandem with the West Coast Area Sales Director and Vice President of Sales on daily sales operations, strategic direction, and CVAC promotional initiatives.
• Recruit, mentor, lead, and retain territory sales professionals and clinical specialists.
• Motivate regional sales teams to achieve revenue targets in line with company growth objectives.
• Set performance expectations, oversee assigned tasks, manage resources, and foster the development of direct reports through leadership, training, and improvement plans.
• Formulate commercial strategies, tactical plans, territory plans, and regional business development initiatives.
• Evaluate competition, market trends, and corporate strengths and weaknesses to generate actionable growth strategies.
• Convert the company’s mission and vision into measurable objectives for the regional sales team.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, pinpoint process enhancements, and lead their execution.
• Stay updated on training related to company SOPs and industry regulations.
• Complete regional administrative tasks, including SFDC field data entry, expense reporting, and inventory management.
• Build and sustain relationships with key decision-makers to enhance CVAC adoption.
• Collaborate with marketing, customer service, market access, and professional education leadership teams.
• Attend local, regional, and national tradeshows as required.
• Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned.
• BS degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience in medical device sales.
• Proven track record in leading medical device teams, primarily in sales leadership roles.
• Experience in early-stage start-up environments.
• Prior operating room experience, including familiarity with fluoroscopy and endoscopy.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively to both small and large audiences.
• Extensive experience in selling to hospitals and ASCs.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%, including overnight trips.
• Carry out responsibilities in compliance with FDA’s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO 13485, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Commitment to maintaining up-to-date hospital credentialing requirements, including necessary vaccinations and immunizations.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Annual variable/MBO opportunity of $140,000.
