This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement a comprehensive business strategy for an extensive geographical region.
• Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Interact with physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and various healthcare professionals across diverse medical specialties.
• Conduct visits to physician offices, hospital pharmacies, operating rooms, intensive care units, and other relevant locations.
• Grasp and effectively communicate clear messages in complex clinical contexts.
• Participate in periodic field travel alongside internal staff, including management and marketing teams.
• Leverage data resources to enhance strategies and efficiencies, taking advantage of high-ROI opportunities.
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales and profit targets.
• Oversee and monitor territory-specific data using a CRM system.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare Industry sales.
• Capacity to work autonomously and manage key account relationships effectively.
• Proven sales growth while overseeing your own territory.
• Documented success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of complex clinical information.
• Ability to convey intricate clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real-time situations.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong presentation skills, including experience presenting to teams or groups.
• Effective interpersonal and virtual engagement skills.
• Proficiency with CRM tools such as Veeva or Salesforce.
• Ability to work independently as part of a team.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Successful credentialing with healthcare institutions and third-party credentialing vendors.
• Capability to maintain required credentialing throughout employment.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for the territory/role, including air travel.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear.
• Occasional need to climb stairs and/or use elevators.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to manipulate a keyboard and operate a telephone and handheld devices.
• Preferred: Experience with Buy and Bill and injectable products.
• Preferred: Oncology experience.
• Preferred: Hospital sales/account-based selling experience and familiarity with P&T/Formulary processes.
• Preferred: Knowledge of local and regional health systems.
