This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop regional beat plans, set targets and inputs, monitor performance, and enhance secondary sales.
• Facilitate the induction and onboarding process for Territory Business Managers.
• Provide strategic insights for territory target planning and the long-term vision.
• Adhere to established processes and SOPs for appointing stockists.
• Oversee the sales of Abbott products and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Maintain oversight of the regional sales operating budget.
• Direct sales efforts to meet both short- and long-term sales volume and projections.
• Implement marketing strategies and campaigns, including CMEs and camps.
• Carry out promotional and BTL activities within the assigned territory.
• Plan and forecast demand for the designated area.
• Collaborate with CFAs and stockists to ensure optimal inventory levels and meet demand.
• Ensure the efficiency of the regional supply chain, product availability, and minimize expiry risks.
• Train, supervise, manage, evaluate, motivate, and develop Territory Business Managers.
• Cultivate relationships with opinion leaders and stockists while assessing key customers.
• Ensure that assigned personnel possess the necessary training and qualifications.
• Guarantee the distribution of Abbott products in assigned towns in accordance with company plans.
• Plan trade promotion activities and monitor sales force metrics.
• Ensure compliance with Abbott’s Code of Business Conduct, FCPA, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory requirements.
• Advocate for Abbott's values and professional conduct.
• Manage customer interactions, resource attrition, order accuracy, audits, and inspections.
• Execute divisional and business strategies.
• Engage in company meetings, training sessions, workshops, doctors' meets, and other initiatives.
• Minimum educational qualification: Graduation.
• An MBA or PG Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Business Management is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of prior experience in the vaccine sector.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience in managing brand launches and subsequent phases.
• Familiarity with the assigned territory is beneficial.
• Capability to adapt and learn swiftly if the assigned territory is unfamiliar.
• Willingness to relocate as needed by Abbott.
• Exceptional planning and operational abilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Supervisory capabilities.
• Proficiency in the local language of the assigned area or territory.
• Fluency in English is preferred.
• Competent computer skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, proactive, and capable of independently generating sales if necessary.
• 100% travel associated with the position.
