This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
β’ Build and manage a team of Neurology Account Specialists.
β’ Launch products that have received approval.
β’ Develop and implement regional strategies.
β’ Foster employee development, oversee performance, and drive outcomes for approved products.
β’ Analyze sales metrics to uncover growth opportunities and identify areas of concern.
β’ Oversee sales, pre-launch activities, strategic business planning, and execution for approved products.
β’ Direct the acquisition, expansion, and retention of targeted business within the designated geographic region.
β’ Optimize national strategies and enhance regional business performance using insights into institutions, market access, and key customers.
β’ Engage in the creation of national and regional sales strategies and implement them within the geographic area.
β’ Establish and oversee regional expense budgets, ensuring effective resource utilization and planning.
β’ Hire and select Neurology Account Specialists; provide coaching, performance feedback, and motivation.
β’ Ensure that the regional sales team adheres to company policies and corporate governance standards.
β’ Communicate the vision, business objectives, performance results, and future steps.
β’ Identify opportunities for improving organizational efficiency and processes.
β’ Collaborate with CADs, DPAs, MPAs, HUB, and other company personnel to develop strategies and build relationships.
β’ Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with targeted KOLs, physicians, medical staff, and key personnel at centers.
β’ Anticipate and proactively address business challenges.
β’ Adjust priorities to align with SI business needs.
β’ Maintain expertise in selling techniques, clinical knowledge, market awareness, and product knowledge.
β’ Represent the company, its products, and personnel with integrity and respect.
β’ Complete tasks and projects assigned by the Sr. Director of National Sales.
β’ Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and pharmaceutical guidelines.
β’ Report directly to the Sr. Director of National Sales.
β’ Collaborate effectively with field-based and internal colleagues, particularly in Sales, Sales Operations, Medical, Compliance, and Human Resources.
β’ Interact with KOLs, physicians, healthcare providers, administrators, and HUB personnel.
β’ BA/BS degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in sales management.
β’ Preferred experience in Neurology, Rare Disease, CNS, Orphan Drugs, new product launches, and the hiring, selection, and development of sales teams.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the regulations/guidelines relevant to pharmaceutical sales.
β’ Knowledge of Buy and Bill, along with hospital and institutional dynamics, is highly preferred.
β’ Strong business acumen, a bottom-line orientation, an entrepreneurial spirit, and resourcefulness.
β’ Leadership and motivational abilities, with a proven track record in observing, assessing, and developing sales personnel.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication, along with presentation skills.
β’ Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
β’ Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, including frequent overnight stays.
