This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and direct all essential sales operations within the region.
• Provide analytical support and reporting to execute regional business objectives.
• Identify potential market opportunities and assess team performance.
• Achieve and surpass regional sales targets.
• Utilize account planning, sales analytics, and account priorities to effectively allocate sales efforts and resources.
• Assist in sales planning and data analysis for Sales & Marketing leadership.
• Conduct sales outreach to strategically significant accounts with Cardiopulmonary Specialists.
• Manage relationships with key opinion leaders and major accounts.
• Facilitate regular sales meetings to discuss progress, opportunities, competitive challenges, and training initiatives.
• Present sales patterns, market insights, and resource requirements to senior management.
• Support sales objectives, training programs, incentive plan development, and sales force alignment.
• Stay up-to-date with news, literature, educational resources, and events in the pulmonary hypertension community.
• Conduct interviews, hire personnel, make salary recommendations, delegate tasks, coach, mentor, and develop team members.
• Create work plans and perform performance evaluations.
• Engage in regular field visits with direct reports.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific, nursing, or clinically related field; or an equivalent level of relevant experience required to gain the necessary skills for this role.
• Over 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• More than 6 years of experience working with physicians, vendors, and competitors in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• A valid in-state driver's license with a passenger endorsement in good standing.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
• Proven track record of achieving sales excellence.
• Capacity to translate corporate strategies into detailed regional business plans with quantifiable results.
• Proficient in utilizing CRM systems and market analytics.
• Self-motivated individual who drives results while actively listening, learning, and uplifting others.
• Ability to implement creative solutions, strategic thinking, and independent decision-making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skills to lead and motivate high-performing sales teams.
