This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and execute annual sales objectives, performance benchmarks, and reporting mechanisms for all accounts.
• Oversee and enhance EBITDA for designated sites by optimizing commercial performance and ensuring agreements are financially beneficial and aligned with market standards.
• Partner with District Operation Directors to create district budgets and meet financial goals.
• Launch and manage proactive lead management and sales funnel processes to facilitate targeted sales and customer acquisition.
• Provide market insights and assistance for M&A initiatives, including competitor analysis and customer intelligence.
• Oversee contract negotiations, maintenance, and documentation to ensure compliance and synchronization with invoicing procedures.
• Sustain customer relationships by managing issue escalation, conducting business reviews, and supporting retention and cross-selling efforts.
• Execute other essential tasks as assigned.
• At least 5 years of experience in distribution sales, including a minimum of 3 years in field sales management with progressive responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing, or equivalent training in Business or Sales Management.
• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes in distribution, warehousing, logistics, or transportation sectors.
• Proven financial analysis capabilities relevant to distribution and logistics.
• Established ability to cultivate and sustain new business relationships.
• Proficient negotiation and mediation skills for business agreements.
• Existing network of industry contacts.
• Experience in conducting needs assessments, documentation, and process enhancements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills demonstrated through client interactions and documentation.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proven experience delivering presentations using PowerPoint to executive-level audiences.
• History of managing multiple projects under stringent deadlines.
• Willingness to travel by automobile and airplane for business purposes.
• Capability to visit warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, position, and/or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
