This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivate and oversee a sales territory for Supplemental Health Care aimed at boosting both top-line revenue and bottom-line performance, primarily targeting hospitals and acute care facilities.
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of a territory sales strategy that aligns with the company's financial and strategic objectives.
• Promote all service lines, including local contracts, travel assignments, contract-to-hire options, MSP, and various nursing and allied market solutions.
• Work in conjunction with Acute, Non-Acute, Workforce Solutions, Contracting, Marketing, and Credit teams.
• Ensure that contracted billing rates are in line with financial targets and renegotiate rates and terms as necessary.
• Identify and qualify new sales leads and opportunities.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed annual targets.
• Document sales activities and updates in HubSpot CRM.
• Conduct Partnership Performance Reviews with key clients.
• Facilitate MSP discussions to achieve regional MSP objectives.
• Act as the point of escalation for billing issues.
• Lead Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for potential strategic clients.
• Engage in cold calling, phone sales, email campaigns, social media outreach, RFPs, sponsored events, trade shows, client lunches and dinners, and other special initiatives.
• Present to associations and organizations to enhance awareness of SHC's capabilities.
• Address client concerns and issues promptly and effectively.
• Develop and expand on existing client needs and deliver formal presentations to prospective clients.
• Communicate professionally with clients, field personnel, and office staff while fostering credibility and rapport.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for process-related Business Development inquiries.
• Assist the internal regional sales team in targeted client or prospect acquisition and development.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and manage distribution.
• Contribute to creating a positive environment characterized by high morale, motivation, and teamwork.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 8+ years of outside business-to-business sales experience is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare staffing or healthcare MSP is preferred.
• Proven record of excellent negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated experience in selling strategic sales solutions.
• Fundamental understanding of business and management principles related to recruiting, staffing, production methods, human resources, or similar relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
• Knowledge of principles and techniques for selling recruiting services, including marketing strategies and sales management systems.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks on time.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel by car or airplane within the territory as needed; travel may reach up to 60% within the assigned territory, with occasional trips outside the designated area.
• Proficient in using computers and software systems, including Microsoft Office and sales CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce).
• Ability to maintain flexible schedules to meet client needs and address complaints.
• Capacity to work for extended periods sitting, typing, and using the phone and computer.
• Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and participate in future webcasts/trainings as required.
