This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Foster awareness of Veeam among alliance partners to create a shared pipeline and enhance sales.
• Facilitate business growth surrounding joint workloads, collaborative offers, field enablement, marketing, support, and demand generation.
• Boost direct sales cooperation, particularly in the enterprise segment, and monitor the closure of leads and deals.
• Collaborate with EMEA Alliance Marketing and Veeam DACH Marketing to develop initiatives that drive opportunity creation, product evaluations, and sales.
• Implement joint channel programs to expand reach and speed up the sales cycle, targeting enterprise customers and prospects.
• Define, manage, and execute programmatic alliance interactions that can be replicated across the entire alliance portfolio.
• Utilize and adapt initiatives created by Veeam Global and EMEA Alliance teams.
• Collaborate closely with DACH and EMEA sales, pre-sales, marketing, and channel teams to meet shared objectives.
• Navigate the DACH IT distribution landscape (Arrow, TD Synnex, Also, Ingram) and system integrators (Kyndryl, Accenture, Atos, Tata).
• Comprehend DACH procurement cycles in both the public sector and private enterprise.
• Travel frequently (40% - 50%) within DACH and occasionally throughout EMEA.
• Extensive knowledge of at least one strategic alliance is essential; familiarity with Microsoft, HPE, and/or EverPure is preferred.
• Proven experience in creating and driving a sales pipeline, either directly or through channels.
• Understanding of marketing principles from strategic to tactical levels.
• Background in a leading enterprise software company in an alliances or channel capacity.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire external teams toward a unified goal.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; robust influencing and negotiation capabilities.
• Innovative approach to local partnerships and co-marketing initiatives.
• General business insight; an MBA is a plus.
• Results-oriented, hands-on mindset. Willingness to engage in details while also operating at a strategic level.
• Native or bilingual German; fluent in English, both written and spoken.
