This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the main representative for Zoetis Poultry products for broiler and broiler breeder clients in the Texas region of the United States.
• Meet annual gross revenue and margin goals within the outlined budgetary constraints.
• Oversee new business development and customer retention within designated regional accounts.
• Advocate for and facilitate the sales of Zoetis products and services, which include Biologicals and Inovoject device systems.
• Manage communications with corporate and complex-level customers regarding Zoetis poultry offerings and services.
• Formulate account plans and assist in the development of team members' account strategies.
• Organize Zoetis activities within the assigned accounts.
• Keep updated on customer locations to optimize business opportunities.
• Relay customer requirements to internal teams including Customer Service, Veterinary Services, Marketing, and product support.
• Establish and nurture an industry network.
• Compile reports on industry trends, customer updates, sales targets, achievements, and competitive landscape.
• Foster customer loyalty by building relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in accounts.
• Provide insights for the development of marketing strategies.
• Utilize the CRM tool for managing accounts, contacts, and business activities.
• Monitor changes and anticipated needs of assigned accounts, delivering monthly forecasts.
• A four-year degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or Agribusiness is preferred.
• A minimum of five years in the poultry industry, with a working knowledge of live production, is preferred.
• Highly developed interpersonal abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in PC applications, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project software).
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Encourages teamwork and collaboration.
• Ability to address common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory bodies, or business community members.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 50% of the time, including quarterly trips to the West Coast.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
• Capability to work in animal environments typical of the poultry industry.
• Must have or be able to obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
