This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the chief representative for all Zoetis Poultry offerings for broiler and broiler breeder clients in the Texas region of the United States.
• Meet annual gross revenue and margin objectives within the established budget limits.
• Oversee new business development and customer retention within designated regional accounts.
• Advocate for and facilitate the sales of Zoetis products and services, including Biologicals and Inovoject device systems.
• Handle corporate and complex-level communications with clients regarding Zoetis poultry products and services.
• Create account strategies and contribute to team-led account strategies.
• Organize all Zoetis initiatives within assigned accounts.
• Keep abreast of customer locations to optimize business prospects.
• Relay customer requirements to Customer Service, Veterinary Services, Marketing, and product support teams.
• Cultivate and expand an industry network to gain early insights into customer strategies.
• Generate reports detailing industry updates, customer news, sales goals, achievements, and competitive insights.
• Foster customer loyalty through relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at accounts.
• Provide input for the development of marketing strategies.
• Utilize the CRM tool to oversee accounts, contacts, and business operations.
• Monitor account changes and future requirements, providing monthly forecasts.
• A bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or Agribusiness is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in the poultry industry with a solid understanding of live production is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Proficient in PC use, particularly with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project software).
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Encourages teamwork and collaboration.
• Ability to address common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory bodies, or business community members.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 50% of the time, including quarterly trips to the West Coast.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
• Must be capable of working in environments typical of the poultry industry.
• All candidates must possess or secure authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
