Regional Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary liaison for Zoetis Poultry products for broiler and broiler breeder accounts within the Pennsylvania area.

• Meet annual revenue and margin objectives while adhering to budgeted expense constraints.

• Oversee the growth of new business and the retention of customers in designated accounts.

• Advocate for and assist in the sales of Zoetis products and services, which include Biologicals and Inovoject device systems.

• Handle corporate and complex-level customer communications related to Zoetis poultry products and services.

• Formulate account plans and contribute to team-led plans.

• Coordinate all Zoetis initiatives within assigned accounts.

• Maintain awareness of customer locations to optimize business opportunities.

• Relay customer needs to Customer Service, Veterinary Services, Marketing, and product support teams.

• Establish and cultivate an industry network to comprehend customer strategies and identify opportunities early.

• Compile reports on industry trends, customer updates, sales goals, achievements, and competitive insights.

• Foster customer loyalty by building relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in accounts.

• Provide input for the development of marketing plans.

• Utilize the CRM tool for managing accounts, contacts, and business activities.

• Monitor changes and anticipated needs of assigned accounts, providing monthly forecasts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A four-year degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or Agribusiness is preferred.

• A minimum of five years in the poultry industry with a solid understanding of live production is preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project software.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to address common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory bodies, or business community members.

• Willingness to travel overnight up to 50% of the time, including quarterly trips to the West Coast.

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Capability to work in typical animal environments found in the poultry industry.

• All applicants must have or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
