This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Drive sales expansion and enhance market presence within a specified healthcare area.
• Target NHS payer stakeholders and healthcare professionals.
• Oversee all facets of the sales process.
• Take charge of commercial initiatives and stakeholder relationships within primary and secondary NHS care providers.
• Implement the Infinity sales process from start to finish.
• Meet or surpass sales objectives for the Scope Ophthalmics portfolio, which includes Hylo and branded glaucoma generics.
• Cultivate and sustain knowledge of ICBs, LHBs, HBs, local formularies, and ophthalmology patient pathways.
• Establish connections with NHS decision-makers, formulary committees, ophthalmologists, optometrists, pharmacists, and primary care stakeholders.
• Leverage business analytics, CRM data, ShowPad, and marketing resources to stimulate growth.
• Develop and implement business plans that align with company goals and local NHS priorities.
• Work in collaboration with L&D, Commercial, Value & Outcomes, Projects Lead, Medical, and Marketing teams.
• Represent Scope Ophthalmics at meetings, conferences, and forums.
• Keep track of competitor activities, changes in NHS policies, and market trends.
• Report directly to the Area Sales Manager (ASM).
• Exemplify Scope’s values while maintaining a professional, ethical, and customer-centric approach.
• The ideal candidate must live in close proximity to North Cumbria, Humber & North Yorkshire.
• Must have a degree or equivalent education, preferably in life sciences, healthcare, business, or a related field.
• ABPI qualification is essential.
• Significant experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, preferably in ophthalmology or related fields.
• A proven history of achieving or surpassing sales targets in a complex, multi-stakeholder NHS environment.
• Strong understanding of NHS structures, commissioning pathways, and local formularies.
• Capability to analyze and utilize sales analytics and business intelligence tools.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Skill in influencing stakeholders regarding clinical/therapeutic decision-making and portfolio positioning.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to effectively manage a large geographical territory.
• Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
• Proficient in using digital tools for sales presentations and remote engagement, including ShowPad and CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel within the designated area and participate in relevant events.
• A proactive and growth-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach.
