Regional Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee client relationships for Inrock in the Southern region as well as additional clients as necessary.

• Handle all facets of business development.

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify growth areas and key clients.

• Formulate sales strategies aimed at generating new business and boosting revenues.

• Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.

• Evaluate project details and customer equipment setups to propose suitable tooling solutions.

• Keep abreast of product knowledge through engagement with engineering, guidance service, and operational staff.

• Create sales or service presentations, contracts, quotes, and sales orders.

• Deliver technical information and training to clients.

• Assess market opportunities for new clients, product lines, and partnerships.

• Represent Inrock at industry trade shows and conferences.

• Compile sales and call reports.

• Track and report HDD drilling activities in the region.

• Provide insights on evolving market conditions and marketing strategies.

• Travel frequently within the designated region to engage with customers and inspect customer projects.

• Develop sales plans and prioritize activities to achieve targets.

• Collaborate with the US operations manager to ensure adequate inventory for fulfilling purchases.

• Report directly to the Inrock Regional Director.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) sector.

• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region to meet clients and visit projects.

• Proficiency in developing sales strategies and overseeing business development efforts.

• Capability to recommend tooling solutions based on project specifics and customer equipment setups.

• Skill in preparing sales or service presentations, contracts, quotes, and sales orders.

• Ability to provide technical information and training to clients.

• Competence in monitoring HDD drilling activities and evaluating market opportunities.

• Ability to set and fulfill annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans.
