This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of acquiring and closing new business within designated geographic territories and/or states.
• Engage with C-level executives, VPs, and field-based employees, tailoring talking points and strategies to fit each persona.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and supporting sales teams while reporting on acquisition strategies and pipeline progress.
• Appropriately utilize the “zippered” sales approach.
• Proactively prospect and strategically follow up on prospect engagement points.
• Establish relationships with potential customers through phone calls, emails, tradeshows, industry events, and conferences.
• Develop and implement a micro-strategy for outreach to each prospective customer.
• Organize and monitor prospect touchpoint cadences.
• Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts in accordance with Tenna’s procedures.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize deals utilizing prospect-specific micro-strategies.
• Create outbound email communications with CRM software and assess results.
• Achieve revenue growth that meets or surpasses quarterly plans and forecasts.
• Utilize cross-functional internal resources to secure new business.
• Implement Tenna’s strategic selling techniques.
• Clearly communicate product value to prospective customers.
• Travel frequently for prospecting, networking, sales, and onsite customer meetings.
• Stay informed on industry trends and market changes through associations, webinars, and events.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in selling enterprise software to the construction or related industries.
• Proven track record in Enterprise SaaS sales.
• At least 7 years' experience managing all phases of the sales cycle, with a focus on building prospect relationships, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
• 7+ years' experience in conducting targeted searches and queries to research, qualify, and convert sales leads.
• Strong experience engaging with and presenting to C-level Executives, VPs, and Field-Based Employees.
• Demonstrated success in quota-carrying roles, consistently achieving or exceeding quarterly business plans and forecasts.
• Significant experience traveling up to 70% for prospecting, networking, and sales activities.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related business field is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot is highly desirable.
• Experience leading virtual and in-person product demonstrations using WebEx, Zoom, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, especially in negotiations, public speaking, and presentations.
• Strong understanding of the needs of prospective customers within complex buying organizations.
• Proven negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under deadlines and with attention to detail.
