This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Manage the acquisition and closing of new business for designated geographic territories and/or states.
• Engage with C-level executives, VPs, and field-based employees, tailoring strategies to suit each persona.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and support teams on acquisition strategies and pipeline management.
• Appropriately utilize the “zippered” sales approach.
• Identify potential new customers and strategically follow up on key touchpoints.
• Establish relationships with prospects through phone calls, emails, tradeshows, industry events, and conferences.
• Develop and implement a targeted outreach micro-strategy for each potential customer.
• Organize and monitor prospect touchpoint cadences.
• Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize deals.
• Create outbound email communications utilizing CRM software and assess their effectiveness.
• Achieve revenue growth that meets or surpasses quarterly business plans and forecasts.
• Utilize cross-functional internal resources to secure new business.
• Implement Tenna’s strategic sales approach and effectively communicate product value.
• Travel to prospective customers for on-site prospecting, networking, and sales advancement.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and market fluctuations through associations, webinars, events, and similar activities.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling enterprise software within the construction or related sectors.
• Proven track record in Enterprise SaaS sales.
• At least 7 years’ experience managing all phases of the sales cycle, including prospect relationships, contract negotiation, and closing.
• Over 7 years’ experience conducting targeted searches and queries to research, qualify, and convert sales leads.
• Extensive experience engaging with and communicating to C-level Executives, VPs, and Field-Based Employees.
• Significant experience in quota-carrying positions that consistently deliver revenue growth in line with or exceeding quarterly business plans and forecasts.
• Strong history of frequent travel for prospecting, networking, and selling, up to 70% of the time.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related business field is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and HubSpot is strongly preferred.
• Experience leading virtual and in-person product demonstrations using platforms like WebEx, Zoom, or similar tools.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, particularly in negotiations, public speaking, and presentations.
• Understanding of the needs of prospective customers within complex buying organizations.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
