This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take ownership of acquiring and closing new business within designated geographic territories and/or states.
• Engage with C-level executives, VPs, and field-based personnel, tailoring strategies to fit various personas.
• Work collaboratively with sales leadership and supporting sales teams to develop acquisition strategies and manage the sales pipeline.
• Identify potential new clients and nurture relationships through phone calls, emails, trade shows, industry events, and conferences.
• Develop and implement outreach micro-strategies while tracking interactions with prospects.
• Conduct both in-person and virtual product demonstrations.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts in accordance with Tenna's procedures.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize deals.
• Create outbound email communications utilizing CRM software and assess their effectiveness.
• Achieve revenue growth that meets or surpasses quarterly goals and forecasts.
• Utilize cross-functional resources to secure new business.
• Clearly communicate the value of products to potential customers.
• Travel frequently to prospect, network, sell, and meet potential customers in person.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and market changes through associations, webinars, and events.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in selling enterprise software to construction or related sectors, showcasing a proven track record in Enterprise SaaS sales.
• At least 7 years’ experience managing all stages of the sales cycle, with a focus on building prospect relationships, negotiating contracts, and closing sales.
• Over 7 years’ experience in executing targeted searches and queries to research, qualify, and convert sales leads.
• Significant experience engaging with and presenting to C-level executives, VPs, and field-based employees.
• Proven success in quota-carrying roles that consistently deliver revenue growth that meets or exceeds quarterly business objectives.
• Extensive experience in traveling for prospecting, networking, and sales—up to 70% of the time.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related business field is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot is strongly preferred.
• Experience in leading virtual and in-person product demonstrations using tools like WebEx, Zoom, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, particularly in negotiations, public speaking, and presentations.
• Understanding of the needs of prospective customers within a complex buying organization.
• Strong negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to work under deadlines and attention to detail.
