This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Take charge of acquiring and closing new business within designated geographic territories and/or states.
• Engage with C-level executives, VPs, and field-based employees while tailoring strategies based on their roles.
• Partner with sales leadership and supporting sales teams to develop acquisition strategies and manage the pipeline.
• Appropriately utilize the “zippered” sales approach.
• Identify potential new customers and strategically follow up on key touchpoints.
• Establish prospective customer relationships through phone calls, emails, tradeshows, industry events, and conferences.
• Develop and implement outreach micro-strategies for potential customers.
• Organize and monitor the cadence of prospect touchpoints.
• Lead both in-person and virtual product demonstrations.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts in accordance with company policies.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize deals using strategies tailored to individual prospects.
• Create outbound email communications using CRM software and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Achieve revenue growth that meets or surpasses quarterly targets and forecasts.
• Utilize cross-functional internal resources to secure new business.
• Implement Tenna’s strategic selling methodology.
• Clearly convey product value to prospective customers.
• Travel frequently for prospecting, networking, and sales activities; meet prospects at their locations.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market changes through associations, webinars, and events.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in selling enterprise software to the construction or related industries.
• Proven track record in Enterprise SaaS sales.
• At least 7 years’ experience managing all facets of the sales cycle, including building prospect relationships, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
• Over 7 years’ experience in conducting focused searches and inquiries to research, qualify, and convert sales leads.
• Strong background in selling to and communicating with C-level Executives, VPs, and Field-Based Employees.
• Significant experience in quota-carrying roles that consistently deliver revenue growth in alignment with quarterly business plans and forecasts.
• Strong experience with frequent travel for prospecting, networking, and selling, up to 70% of the time.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related business field is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot is strongly preferred.
• Experience in leading virtual and in-person product demonstrations via platforms like WebEx, Zoom, or similar tools.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, particularly in negotiation, public speaking, and presentations.
• Insight into the needs of prospective customers within a complex buying organization.
• Strong negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to work under deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
