This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.
• Take charge of acquiring and closing new business within designated geographic territories and/or states.
• Engage with C-level executives, VPs, and field-based employees, tailoring strategies to suit different personas.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and support teams to develop acquisition strategies and manage the sales pipeline.
• Appropriately utilize the “zippered” sales approach.
• Actively prospect and strategically follow up with potential new clients.
• Establish relationships with prospective customers through phone calls, emails, tradeshows, industry events, and conferences.
• Develop and implement a targeted outreach micro-strategy for each prospect.
• Organize and monitor prospect touchpoint cadences.
• Lead both in-person and virtual product demonstrations.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize deals.
• Create outbound email communications through CRM software and assess their effectiveness.
• Achieve revenue growth that meets or surpasses quarterly goals and forecasts.
• Utilize cross-functional internal resources to secure new business.
• Implement Tenna’s strategic selling methodology.
• Clearly communicate Tenna’s product value to prospective clients.
• Travel frequently to prospect, network, sell, and engage with potential customers on-site.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market changes through associations, webinars, and events.
• Must reside in, or be willing to move to, Idaho or Montana.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in selling enterprise software to the construction or related sectors.
• Proven success in Enterprise SaaS sales.
• Over 7 years’ experience managing all aspects of the sales cycle, including building prospect relationships, contract negotiation, and closing sales.
• More than 7 years’ experience conducting targeted searches and inquiries to research, qualify, and convert sales leads.
• Strong background in engaging with and selling to C-level executives, VPs, and field-based personnel.
• Extensive experience in quota-carrying positions achieving consistent revenue growth aligned with quarterly targets.
• Significant experience using travel strategically for prospecting, networking, and selling; willing to travel up to 70% of the time.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related business field is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot is strongly preferred.
• Experience conducting virtual and in-person product demonstrations using WebEx, Zoom, or similar platforms.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, particularly in negotiation, public speaking, and delivering presentations.
• Understanding of prospective customers’ needs within a complex purchasing organization.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
