This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Oversee Cash and Carry operations and provide comprehensive management support to store-level leaders.
• Drive sales growth and enhance relationships with both customers and vendors across stores.
• Collaborate with the Cash and Carry leadership team to formulate growth strategies and optimize operational efficiencies.
• Mentor, guide, and correct management staff to ensure alignment with goals and performance expectations.
• Assess, recruit, and train management personnel effectively.
• Operate in accordance with established standards and budgetary constraints.
• Ensure labor models are adequate to meet coverage needs and achieve budgeted objectives.
• Champion safety programs, environmental compliance, employee safety, and facility security measures.
• Implement and uphold company policies across all individual stores.
• Identify root causes of store-specific issues and assist in developing solutions.
• Create schedules for store visits to review displays, products, and adherence to Corporate Office protocols.
• Supervise District Store Managers to ensure operational excellence.
• Engage with employees across the organization, as well as customers and service providers.
• At least seven (7) years of experience managing a multi-unit retail operation or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
• Proficient knowledge of financial operations and processes.
• Analytical abilities to identify the root causes of deficiencies.
• Capability to analyze data, pinpoint root issues, and develop and implement approved solutions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in selecting, evaluating, coaching, and developing managers, ideally in a retail setting.
• Ability to cultivate strong partnerships across various reporting relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including both driving and flying.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
