Region Director of Operations – Chef's Store

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Cash and Carry leadership team to develop growth strategies and enhance operational efficiencies.

• Mentor, guide, and address management personnel to promote goal alignment and performance in accordance with plans.

• Assess, recruit, and train management staff.

• Adhere to standards and operate within budget constraints.

• Ensure labor models yield average results and meet budgeted objectives.

• Champion and promote safety initiatives within stores.

• Implement and uphold company policies across individual locations.

• Identify root causes of store-specific issues and assist in formulating solutions.

• Create store-visit schedules to evaluate displays, products, and compliance with Corporate Office guidelines.

• Provide overarching management support to store-level leaders, ensuring stores operate safely, efficiently, cost-effectively, and profitably.

• Oversee District Store Managers.

• Engage with employees across the organization, customers, and other service providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least seven (7) years of experience managing a multi-unit retailer or related industry experience.

• Demonstrated leadership and organizational capabilities.

• Strong understanding of financial operations and processes.

• Analytical skills to identify root causes of deficiencies.

• Proficient in analyzing data, recognizing root issues, and developing/implementing approved solutions.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Experience in selecting, evaluating, coaching, and developing managers, preferably in a retail context.

• Capacity to build strong partnerships across reporting lines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, by driving and flying.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
