Refrigeration Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems for supermarkets and commercial establishments.

• Troubleshoot issues related to parallel rack systems and refrigeration controls.

• Execute preventative maintenance as well as respond to emergency service requests.

• Work with walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, and associated equipment.

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and refrigeration schematics effectively.

• Maintain professional communication with both customers and team members.

• Thoroughly complete work orders, notes, and necessary documentation.

• Organize and manage inventory in the company vehicle.

• Adhere to company safety protocols and operational procedures.

• Participate in the on-call rotation as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial refrigeration is preferred.

• Required experience with rack refrigeration systems.

• Preferred familiarity with EMS / controls.

• EPA Certification is mandatory.

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Strong skills in electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting are essential.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently is required.

• Professional appearance and communication skills are necessary.

• Capability to lift over 50 pounds and work in diverse environments.

• Preferred experience with CO2 systems.

• Preferred background in supermarket refrigeration.

• Preferred familiarity with equipment from Hussmann, Hillphoenix, or Zero Zone.

• Preferred experience with controls and energy management systems.

• Preferred background in start-ups and commissioning.

• Ability to commit to a 40-hour work week with rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday.
