Recruitment Resourcer / Candidate Specialist – Fashion, Retail, Ecomm

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee recruitment tasks from initial briefing and sourcing to interviews, offer negotiations, and placements.

• Comprehend client businesses, role specifications, and hiring priorities while providing informed recruitment guidance.

• Actively seek out candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, direct outreach, referrals, and specialized networks.

• Develop and sustain talent pipelines across various areas of expertise.

• Evaluate candidates’ experiences, technical skills, motivations, and overall suitability.

• Present well-qualified shortlists accompanied by clear and precise candidate summaries.

• Maintain candidate relationships throughout the recruitment journey.

• Organize interviews, collect feedback, and ensure processes progress smoothly.

• Oversee the recruitment desk, prioritize assignments, and keep accurate CRM records.

• Identify chances to strengthen client relationships and secure repeat business.

• Collaborate with the broader team on Australian and US recruitment assignments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive recruitment agency experience, with current or recent involvement in recruiting for fashion, retail, beauty, lifestyle, or e-commerce sectors.

• Strong grasp of the specialist market, including relevant roles, skill sets, and candidate profiles.

• Proven success in managing recruitment assignments and achieving placements.

• Exceptional headhunting and candidate management abilities.

• Capability to establish a talent network and manage a recruitment desk with a sense of ownership and urgency.

• Commercial confidence and credibility when engaging with senior clients and candidates.

• Practical experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and recruitment CRMs.

• Outstanding written and verbal English skills.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Genuine, ongoing availability to work hours closely aligned with the Australian business day.

• Experience in recruiting for Australian or US clients is highly valued.

• International recruitment experience and confidence in working across diverse markets and time zones is highly regarded.

• Experience in recruiting senior or executive positions within fashion and retail is highly valued.

• Established network within a relevant specialist market is highly regarded.
