This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Fill 40 to 50 positions, focusing mainly on research, analytic, and program roles, within the upcoming months.
• Review and evaluate a high volume of applications utilizing structured scorecards and screening questions.
• Carry out structured phone screenings and reference checks using approved question sets.
• Consistently track applicant status and disposition while keeping candidates updated.
• Enhance and streamline applicant tracking workflows in ADP, which includes requisition intake, candidate communications, scheduling, and status updates.
• Refine templates, automated messages, and dashboards to minimize manual tasks.
• Suggest and establish scalable recruiting tools and document processes for future utilization.
• Conduct hiring-manager kickoffs to verify requirements, interview panels, and timelines.
• Organize interview schedules, reminders, and feedback deadlines.
• Provide weekly reports on pipeline status, time to fill, and stalled searches.
• Advertise positions on the website and job boards with compliant pay ranges and language.
• Execute targeted outreach through universities, professional associations, and organizations supporting veterans and individuals with disabilities.
• Identify job requirements that may unduly restrict applicant pools.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations for postings, pay transparency, applicant records, retention, Section 503, and VEVRAA.
• Maintain comprehensive candidate records and escalate potential compliance issues to HR.
• Prepare offer letters for review in accordance with pay guidance.
• Transition accepted candidates to HR for onboarding.
• A minimum of 4-6 years of recruiting experience, specifically in high-volume hiring.
• Proficient in using ADP Workforce Now to lead recruiting efforts.
• Experience in configuring or enhancing applicant tracking systems.
• Familiarity with Excel or reporting tools to monitor and present hiring metrics.
• Federal contractor experience is essential.
• Solid understanding of EEO requirements, state pay transparency, and AI laws.
• Exceptional written communication skills and sound judgment regarding confidential information.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
• All candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in recruiting within academic or research environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with workflow automation or scheduling tools is a plus.
• A background check at the time of hire may be necessary, with employment contingent upon results.
