This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Attract talented individuals to further Thermo Fisher Scientific’s mission of creating a healthier, cleaner, and safer world.
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles across different business units.
• Act as a strategic advisor for talent acquisition.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to fulfill recruitment needs.
• Create effective sourcing strategies to find the best candidates.
• Develop robust talent pipelines to ensure a continuous flow of qualified applicants.
• Provide an exceptional experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Influence and develop the talent strategy within the organization.
• Embody and promote the company’s culture of integrity, intensity, innovation, and involvement.
• An advanced degree with 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ideally, experience in life sciences, healthcare, or corporate settings.
• Preferred educational backgrounds include Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM systems; knowledge of Workday is advantageous.
• Proficiency in sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, direct sourcing, and social media recruiting.
• Capability to manage high-volume recruitment for various business functions.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills across all organizational levels.
• Competence in data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Additional language skills, such as German, French, Spanish, or Mandarin, are a plus.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence through collaboration.
• Experience with metrics tracking, dashboard creation, and insights driven by data in recruiting.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Skills in project management and process improvement.
• Experience representing a company at recruitment events and career fairs.
• Familiarity with employment laws and compliance requirements.
