This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +7 more countries.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process for Account Executives, Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Sales Development, and Sales Operations.
• Achieve established recruiting objectives and key performance indicators with precise, timely documentation in Greenhouse.
• Facilitate intake and kickoff discussions to ensure alignment among hiring teams regarding role scope, territory or segment, quota and ramp expectations, interview strategies, and timelines.
• Collaborate with hiring teams to conduct structured and equitable interviews that focus on clear competencies and actionable feedback.
• Question assumptions and proactively escalate any risks or obstacles at an early stage.
• Leverage talent-market research, compensation and OTE benchmarks, funnel metrics, and candidate feedback to inform search strategies and resolve hiring challenges.
• Evaluate sales candidates based on their track records, quota achievements, deal complexities, and relevant experience aligned with GitLab's sales segments and methodologies.
• Develop research-driven, diversity-centric sourcing plans that balance applicants, passive talent, referrals, internal candidates, and targeted outreach efforts.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through effective pipeline management, proactive communication, timely feedback, and offer negotiations.
• Enhance recruiting practices by sharing insights and reusable resources, utilizing AI responsibly, and embodying GitLab's mission, values, and culture.
• Experience in full-cycle recruiting within competitive markets, including discussions around offers and compensation.
• Background in sales or go-to-market recruiting, or a keen interest in understanding sales segments, quotas, OTE, ramp time, territory design, and sales cycles.
• Developing advisory capabilities: establishing stakeholder trust, influencing without authority, and managing the expectations of hiring teams.
• Proven experience in creating proactive, diversity-focused sourcing strategies and maintaining balanced pipelines.
• A data-driven mindset that translates funnel insights into actionable steps.
• Strong organizational skills across multiple requisitions and the ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally, across different time zones, with a focus on detail and candidate care.
• Familiarity with an applicant tracking system and recruiting tools such as Greenhouse, Metaview, LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Insights, SeekOut, or similar platforms.
• Capacity to assess AI-generated work, maintain confidentiality, and promote responsible workflows among team members.
• Experience in technology or business-to-business (B2B) software recruiting is advantageous but not mandatory.
