This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Identify and engage both passive and active talent.
• Remain proactive in understanding market trends.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for applicants and referrals, welcoming future employees.
• Provide guidance to business leaders on top-tier hiring practices within the industry.
• Engage in ongoing education and train leaders and interviewers on effective interview techniques.
• Assist stakeholders in creating attractive and compliant job descriptions.
• Organize interview panels and lead debrief sessions.
• Ensure the acquisition of high-quality hires.
• Develop and nurture talent pipelines.
• Collaborate with hiring managers on strategic talent planning, from candidate selection to onboarding.
• Cultivate business knowledge to comprehend how engineering teams contribute to Cisco’s long-term objectives.
• Leverage data to inform decision-making and offer business insights.
• A minimum of 6 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, including at least 3 years focused on technical or engineering hiring.
• Over 2 years of experience ensuring hiring and employment compliance in a regulated industry, government contracting, or complex corporate setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing Artificial Intelligence tools to streamline processes.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience recruiting artificial intelligence professionals or related skill sets, such as machine learning, data science, AI research, and AI Infrastructure Optimization.
• Preferred: Experience in hiring for strategic operations roles within a product or sales context.
• Preferred: Comprehensive knowledge of EEO laws.
• Preferred: Background in managing immigration processes within the recruiting landscape.
• Preferred: Ability to influence business leaders to embrace new methodologies and experiment with alternative talent acquisition strategies.
• Preferred: Experience in data analysis to track trends and uncover obstacles.
• Preferred: Awareness of current and emerging trends in the AI sector.
• Preferred: Experience in a data-driven environment, overseeing desk and requisition-load health and advising business leaders with data insights.
