Real Estate Technical Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Initiate new sites and assess their technical viability (including electrical systems, HVAC, hydraulics, accessibility, and fire safety).

• Establish the necessary works and CAPEX budget.

• Set the technical terms and conditions to be negotiated prior to lease signing with the Senior Real Estate Procurement Manager.

• Create a preventive and corrective maintenance strategy for over 50 sites in collaboration with 7 Multi-Technical Maintenance Managers.

• Assist in the execution of service provider contracts.

• Manage technical emergencies effectively.

• Supervise the technical real estate budget, audits, and regulatory inspections.

• Serve as the primary contact for landlords, local authorities, and regulatory bodies.

• Collaborate with the Director of Operational Technical Services, the Senior Real Estate Procurement Manager, the 7 Maintenance Managers, and a Building Works Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in engineering (ESTP, INSA, or equivalent) specializing in civil engineering, building engineering, or real estate.

• Between 5 to 10 years of experience in technical real estate management or facility management.

• Preferred experience in logistics, industrial/commercial real estate, or multi-site environments.

• Comprehensive knowledge of construction, accessibility, fire safety, and environmental regulations.

• Proficient in managing complex, multi-site projects.

• Strong expertise in CAPEX/OPEX analysis.

• Proven experience in negotiating maintenance contracts.

• Fluency in English is mandatory.

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of leading diverse teams.

• Willingness to travel within France and the Benelux region (5 to 10 days per month).
