Real Estate Portfolio Strategist – Corporate Real Estate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Enhance Ferguson's network consisting of over 1,500 owned and leased real estate properties, encompassing roughly 47 million square feet.

• Foster a manage-to-market approach utilizing market analytics to effectively oversee the lease portfolio and enhance financial results.

• Generate value assessments, metropolitan analyses, buy-versus-lease evaluations, and other data-driven analyses.

• Develop a strategic, actionable plan for the entire portfolio to capitalize on market cycles and strengthen negotiation power.

• Collaborate with developers, landlords, government entities, real estate advisors, Finance, customer groups, and executive leadership.

• Deliver regular updates on portfolio performance along with recommendations through comprehensive reports and presentations.

• Evaluate current and prospective investments by analyzing location and market-level financial metrics.

• Maintain consistent processes through a playbook approach.

• Assess financial modeling tools and outputs for accuracy and completeness.

• Set project-wide SLAs and KPIs, including measurements of NPS.

• Implement best practices to enhance customer satisfaction and overall performance.

• Investigate financial market trends and economic indicators.

• Promote positive engagement with Real Estate and Facilities team members, as well as internal and external partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business management, real estate, or a related field (preferred qualifications).

• 5-7+ years of experience in strategic Transaction Management or Portfolio Management roles.

• Experience with high-profile projects with operational expenses or asset values reaching up to $750M.

• Ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, including the Executive team.

• Strong competencies in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, Relationship Building, Time Management, Risk Mitigation, Planning, as well as written and verbal Communication.
