Real Estate Contracts Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts related to real estate and associated agreements.

• Identify potential business risks and propose effective strategies for mitigation.

• Lead negotiations of UPS real estate contracts involving attorneys, landlords, sellers, buyers, tenants, and internal stakeholders.

• Develop and implement processes aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the contracting lifecycle.

• Ensure alignment with business goals while managing risk appropriately.

• Maintain consistency in UPS's legal and business positions.

• Support investigative efforts and assess legal matters as necessary.

• Review relevant laws, policies, and regulations to determine positions that adequately safeguard UPS.

• Communicate with business units to ensure compliance and uniformity.

• Oversee external counsel representing UPS as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctorate or Law Degree.

• At least five years of legal experience in Commercial Real Estate.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or a National of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
