This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Assist in the real estate components of renewable energy project development, construction, and financing.
• Coordinate surveys, examine site plans, assess buildable areas, perform site visits, and work with investors and title companies on title insurance policies.
• Oversee and manage land-related data within AES's land database while facilitating GIS integration.
• Process, approve, and settle vendor invoices using SAP Fiori.
• Route, approve, document, and monitor site control agreements and title-related curative paperwork.
• Analyze title reports and formulate title curative strategies and action plans.
• Evaluate ALTA surveys for precision and thoroughness.
• Assist in title curative initiatives, including mineral ownership investigations, utility crossing permissions, and mortgage subordinations.
• Foster relationships with title companies, brokers, surveyors, governmental agencies, landowners, attorneys, and AES team members.
• Collaborate with various internal teams and external partners to minimize risk and enhance project financing results.
• Fundamental knowledge of real estate principles, processes, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred experience in real estate development, renewable energy, infrastructure, land administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with SAP, GIS, and Google Earth is advantageous.
• A strong interest in renewable energy and a commitment to supporting sustainable infrastructure projects.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to establish effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Competence to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A creative, analytical, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as necessary.
• Verification of work authorization through Form I-9, with information provided to the SSA and, if required, DHS.
