This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Assist in the real estate components of renewable energy project development, construction, and financing.
• Oversee surveys, evaluate site plans, assess buildable areas, perform site visits, and work alongside investors and title companies regarding title insurance policies.
• Manage and update land-related data within AES's land database while supporting GIS integration.
• Process, approve, and pay vendor invoices utilizing SAP Fiori.
• Route, approve, document, and monitor site control agreements and title-related curative documents.
• Analyze title reports and formulate title curative strategies and action plans.
• Assess ALTA surveys for precision and completeness.
• Aid in title curative initiatives, which include mineral ownership research, utility crossing consents, and mortgage subordinations.
• Collaborate with title companies, brokers, surveyors, government agencies, landowners, attorneys, and AES team members to mitigate risks and support project financing outcomes.
• Report to a Senior Manager in Real Estate.
• Engage with various teams including Origination, Project Development, Legal, Finance, Engineering, and Construction.
• Basic understanding of real estate principles, processes, and industry practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred experience in real estate development, renewable energy, infrastructure, land administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of SAP, GIS, and Google Earth is advantageous.
• Genuine interest in renewable energy and a commitment to supporting sustainable infrastructure projects.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Creative, analytical, and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States, including the specified flexible locations of Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, or Utah, as relevant to the job posting.
