This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.
• Offer extensive technical knowledge regarding applications of reagents and consumables.
• Provide scientific consultation to enhance customer workflows and outcomes.
• Serve as a reliable advisor to laboratory stakeholders.
• Educate clients on optimal practices to maximize the use of reagents.
• Identify gaps in workflows and opportunities for expansion.
• Enhance reagent utilization within current customer processes.
• Assist in assay development and address application-specific requirements.
• Boost adoption rates through targeted technical engagement efforts.
• Promote consumables pull-through and generate recurring reagent revenue.
• Discover and cultivate cross-selling opportunities throughout the portfolio.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on strategies for territorial growth.
• Increase usage within established accounts to enhance wallet share.
• Fortify customer relationships via ongoing technical support.
• Improve customer retention by underscoring value and outcomes.
• Elevate customer dependence on Waters reagents and solutions.
• Support long-term account growth through consistent engagement.
• Work in partnership with Instrument Technical Sales Specialists, Applications, Service, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
• Contribute to coordinated customer engagement strategies and a cohesive team-based selling approach.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in scientific, technical sales, applications, or laboratory roles.
• Capability to convert technical expertise into tangible customer value.
• Willingness and capacity to travel extensively within the designated territory.
• Preferred experience with reagents and consumables product lines.
• Background in flow cytometry or similar applications is preferred.
• Previous experience supporting laboratory workflows or assay development is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial sales environments or account support roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of CRM tools and established sales processes is preferred.
• Must reside within the assigned commercial territory, typically within a 50-mile radius of a major commercial airport in the Southeast region.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the territory.
