React Native Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create seamless, pixel-perfect user interfaces for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Develop new mobile functionalities for the existing mobile applications and platforms.

• Utilize native APIs for in-depth integrations with various platforms.

• Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.

• Manage a version-controlled codebase and implement automated unit tests.

• Migrate existing features to React Native to ensure consistency in functionality.

• Collaborate effectively as part of an Agile team environment.

• Work autonomously on individual tasks.

• Partner with development teams to draft API specification outlines for both front-end and back-end teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, including ES6+ syntax and React Native.

• Understanding of both object-oriented and functional programming principles.

• Proficient in using third-party packages for React and React Native applications.

• Capability to produce well-documented, clean JavaScript code.

• Experience managing third-party dependencies and troubleshooting dependency conflicts.

• Familiarity with native build tools such as XCode, Gradle, and Android Studio.

• Skilled in debugging, building, and operating within XCode and Android Studio.

• Comprehension of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage mechanisms.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks like Detox and Jest.

• Knowledge of Git, including repository management, branching, Git commands, pull requests, and handling merge conflicts.

• Willingness and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.

• Basic understanding of Swift, Objective-C, and Java programming languages.

• Familiarity with standards and regulations set by the Apple Developer/Connect system.

• A public app available in the Google or Apple app stores is a plus.
