R Developer – Bio Background

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with bio and life science organizations to address intricate challenges using data.

• Create R and Shiny solutions that facilitate scientific and clinical decision-making.

• Design, construct, and enhance data-centric applications utilized by researchers and scientists.

• Engage in projects that encompass drug discovery and clinical trials.

• Work alongside data scientists, bioinformaticians, engineers, scientists, and clinical researchers.

• Collect requirements and oversee backlogs.

• Take part in the complete development and delivery cycle of applications.

• Complete a home assignment and participate in interviews with the People Team, Technical Interview panel, and Head of Technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in R for statistical programming, data manipulation, and visualization.

• Familiar with CDISC standards, including SDTM, ADaM, and SEND.

• Experience in TLF programming.

• Knowledge of validation principles within a GxP environment.

• Experience in Medical Data Review and Pharmacovigilance.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

• Understanding of the drug development lifecycle and clinical trial processes.

• Experience in requirements gathering and backlog management.

• Master's degree in bioinformatics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Valid passport if located outside Poland, or a valid ID if based in Poland.

• Must reside in EMEA or LATAM.

• Experience with R/Shiny web applications or websites is a plus.

• Familiarity with reproducible data processing pipelines like Nextflow is a plus.

• Understanding of molecular biology and bioinformatics fundamentals is a plus.

• Experience with bioinformatics tools and databases such as Bioconductor, BLAST, NCBI, EMBL, PDB, and PubMed is a plus.

• Experience in creating and maintaining R packages is a plus.

• Experience collaborating with scientists and clinical researchers is a plus.
