This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assess, organize, and price consumer asset-backed transactions alongside the Capital Markets team
• Create and refine capital structuring and pricing models for Affirm’s consumer loan portfolio
• Develop quantitative models to evaluate and forecast consumer loan performance
• Supply capital markets deal insights to cross-functional teams to enhance funding strategies and merchant pricing
• Collaborate with Capital Markets, Treasury, Merchant Pricing, Credit, Commercial, Product, and Engineering teams on funding, product, and business decisions
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in structuring asset-backed transactions, forecasting consumer loan performance, and/or developing quantitative models
• Familiarity with Intex/Bloomberg and experience working with accountants, rating agencies, and both internal and external partners
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across various teams
• Demonstrated proactive leadership, project management, ability to navigate ambiguity, and creative problem-solving skills with minimal guidance
• A strong desire to grasp the broader context of business decisions
