Quality Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a corporate quality strategy that aligns with business goals.

• Offer strategic direction on quality systems, compliance mandates, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with executive and operational leaders to promote excellence across all departments.

• Oversee and maintain organizational quality management systems and standards.

• Manage internal audit programs to ensure adherence to relevant quality standards and certifications.

• Coordinate ISO certification efforts across various business units.

• Administer process documentation systems.

• Lead initiatives for root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Advocate for Lean Six Sigma methodologies and best practices in continuous improvement.

• Establish, monitor, and report on quality performance metrics and organizational goals.

• Mentor and assist Quality Managers and their teams.

• Promote accountability, collaboration, and a culture of continuous learning.

• Facilitate capability development through coaching and sharing best practices.

• Ensure that products and services meet or surpass customer expectations.

• Aid in supplier quality enhancement and risk management.

• Work with operational teams to elevate process performance and product quality.

• Supervise quality department procedures and standard operating protocols.

• Safeguard the confidentiality of company policies, financial data, compensation information, and proprietary details.

• Confirm compliance with established procedures while balancing quality, efficiency, and cost considerations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is mandatory.

• At least 15 years of progressive experience in quality leadership within a manufacturing setting.

• Proven track record in leading enterprise-wide quality programs and quality management systems.

• Experience in managing ISO certification programs and audit procedures.

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

• Spanish language skills are preferred.

• Strong strategic leadership and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
