Quality Control Inspector, Level 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct daily quality inspections for welding, pipeline, facility, mechanical, and turnaround operations.

• Ensure adherence to project specifications, approved drawings, relevant codes, and client requirements.

• Coordinate and oversee quality testing procedures, including NDE, hydrostatic testing, and material verification.

• Confirm that materials are accurately documented, traceable, and compliant before installation.

• Maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), detailing hold points, witness points, and client inspections.

• Detect non-conformances and support the implementation of corrective measures.

• Validate weld documentation, material traceability, and turnover records.

• Generate inspection reports, quality documentation, and project closeout packages.

• Engage in client, regulatory, and third-party inspections and audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid CWB Welding Inspector Level 2 certification is mandatory.

• Up-to-date CSTS, WHIMIS2015, H2S Alive, First Aid, and other essential industry safety certifications.

• Proven experience in conducting quality inspections on pipeline, facility, industrial, oil and gas, or turnaround projects.

• In-depth knowledge of welding inspection, construction quality processes, NDE, pressure testing, and material traceability.

• Capability to read and interpret construction drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and technical specifications.

• Familiarity with CSA, ASME, API, and client quality standards is advantageous.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems.
