Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the current Playwright-driven automation framework encompassing UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing coverage.

• Enhance and optimize the framework’s architecture, design patterns, structure, and maintainability.

• Integrate automated testing more thoroughly into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.

• Collaborate with Development and Product teams to proactively identify quality risks.

• Develop test strategies, create test data, and ensure automated regression testing coverage.

• Conduct API and database testing, which includes stored procedures and data validation.

• Analyze complex failures, determine root causes, and facilitate the resolution of defects.

• Enhance automation reliability, improve execution speed, and increase coverage at scale.

• Guide and mentor QA engineers while advocating for automation and best practices in quality engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of QA/testing experience, with a strong focus on automation.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Playwright.

• Experience with Selenium is a plus.

• Strong skills in C# and experience with .NET applications/APIs.

• Familiarity with API testing/automation tools, such as Postman or similar.

• Extensive database testing experience, including test data management and stored procedures.

• Proven experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD processes.

• Experience in scaling, refactoring, or significantly enhancing an existing automation framework.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities.

• Commitment to engineering quality into the product, rather than just identifying bugs.
