QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Conduct both manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.

• Strategize and carry out functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing cycles.

• Create, develop, and consistently improve automation frameworks utilizing Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).

• Implement object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to construct reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation components.

• Incorporate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps.

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure quality is integrated from the initial phases of development.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects until resolution, ensuring timely and effective corrections.

• Establish, assess, and continually enhance QA processes, standards, and best practices.

• Mentor and support QA engineers, fostering a robust quality culture within the team.

• Guarantee comprehensive test coverage across intricate trading workflows, encompassing account management, order execution, and reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing for web and mobile.

• Strong grasp of programming fundamentals with practical experience in JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

• Demonstrated experience with Playwright automation using TypeScript / JavaScript.

• Strong knowledge of client-server architecture and API testing (Postman or similar tools).

• Advanced SQL skills for database validation and data verification.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Capability to produce clear and effective test plans and test cases for both manual and automated execution.

• Upper-intermediate English proficiency for communication with global teams.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing environments.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.

• Exposure to CRM systems and Trading applications is a plus.

• Knowledge of Backend technologies (Rest API, GRPC, etc.) is an advantage.
