QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold UI and API automation tests utilizing Page Objects.

• Conduct testing on REST APIs to confirm status codes, error management, and responses.

• Validate the storage and retrieval of application data through database testing.

• Assess end-to-end data flows between Deposco, Oracle, Snowflake, and SharePoint files.

• Execute automated tests via GitHub Actions pipelines.

• Analyze CloudWatch logs and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.

• Review infrastructure tickets related to Lambda, IAM, and Terraform.

• Perform load testing on APIs and critical web pages.

• Evaluate response times and error rates, identifying performance bottlenecks using Datadog.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Playwright + TypeScript automation; capable of writing and maintaining UI and API tests using Page Objects.

• Experience in API testing with Postman or Playwright's request client.

• Test REST APIs, focusing on status codes, validations, and error management.

• Ability to differentiate between frontend and backend bugs.

• Knowledge of SQL query writing and understanding.

• Familiarity with Postgres and Snowflake database testing.

• Experience in integration and end-to-end testing across Deposco, Oracle, Snowflake, and SharePoint files.

• Understanding of GitHub branches, pull requests, and conducting code reviews.

• Proficient in using GitHub Actions for executing tests in CI/CD pipelines.

• Basic understanding of AWS services, including CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM, and Terraform.

• Experience with performance/load testing tools like JMeter.

• Ability to measure response times and error rates.

• Utilization of monitoring tools such as Datadog to pinpoint performance challenges.
