QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and execute testing strategies to ensure the quality of Java-based systems.

• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to verify that solutions align with both technical and business requirements.

• Work in collaboration with development teams to proactively identify and address quality issues.

• Generate and maintain technical documentation related to testing methodologies and outcomes.

• Engage in planning sessions and retrospectives, offering valuable insights into software quality.

• Track and report on quality metrics, suggesting ongoing enhancements to development and testing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of Java and hands-on experience in agile development settings.

• Demonstrated experience with test automation and relevant testing tools.

• Capability to analyze requirements and create effective test cases.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team, complemented by strong interpersonal communication skills.

• Relevant software testing certifications, such as ISTQB.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.

• Experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) environments.

• Proficiency with test management and bug tracking tools.

• Strong logical reasoning, commitment, organizational skills, teamwork, proactivity, dynamism, flexibility, initiative, and accountability.
