Test Analyst – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in planning and refinement sessions to clarify requirements and outline test scenarios.

• Develop and document test scenarios utilizing agile methodologies and appropriate strategies.

• Perform tests as per the established plan, recording outcomes in the demand management tool while recommending enhancements.

• Conduct maintenance testing, validate bugs, and execute exploratory testing.

• Collaborate with developers to analyze, report, and prioritize defect issues.

• Spearhead the automation of repetitive and regression tests by creating automated scripts.

• Present testing reports and outcomes to aid in decision-making processes.

• Monitor and evaluate quality and performance metrics through the use of monitoring tools and dashboards.

• Facilitate internal training sessions.

• Promote ongoing improvements in testing tools, technologies, and methodologies.

• Provide training and mentorship to junior test analysts through sessions, mentorship, and guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Networks, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related area.

• Familiarity with exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing methodologies.

• Proficiency in requirements analysis techniques.

• Understanding of API testing.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MSSQL, and Git.

• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Cucumber.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Competence in testing techniques like black-box and white-box testing.

• Knowledge of BDD test development methodologies.

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.

• Proficient in English.
