QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain automated test scripts for API and web applications utilizing Selenium or Playwright.

• Introduce Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks to promote collaboration and enhance test coverage.

• Construct, configure, and uphold automated testing pipelines through GitLab CI/CD.

• Engage in the planning and execution of non-functional testing activities, including performance, security, and reliability assessments.

• Work in partnership with developers, product owners, data engineers, and compliance subject matter experts to embed automated tests into the software development lifecycle.

• Oversee test cases, defects, and test execution using JIRA and XRay.

• Diagnose and resolve issues within automation scripts to ensure quality and reliability.

• Persistently enhance automation frameworks and testing methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in API and web automation employing Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.

• Solid understanding and practical experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).

• Experience in designing and managing CI/CD GitLab pipelines for automation processes.

• Familiarity with non-functional testing principles; practical experience is an advantage.

• Proficient in Java programming.

• Knowledge of Python is a plus.

• Experience utilizing JIRA and XRay for test management and defect tracking.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
