QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement automated testing strategies for applications powered by AI.

• Create and sustain automation suites for API and user interface testing.

• Assess AI-driven workflows, autonomous agents, and user experiences enhanced by AI.

• Work closely with developers to pinpoint risks and enhance software quality from the outset of the development lifecycle.

• Consistently enhance automation coverage, testing methodologies, and quality benchmarks.

• Advocate for best practices in QA automation across engineering teams.

• Actively engage in Agile ceremonies and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Aid in the integration of contemporary AI-augmented testing practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related area is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in QA Automation.

• Proficient in designing and implementing automated testing strategies.

• Practical experience with Playwright.

• Strong programming capabilities in JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Experience in automating REST APIs.

• Familiarity with testing AI-driven applications is highly recommended.

• Experience with Stagehand, browser usage, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, or similar AI technologies is advantageous.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficient in English at an upper-intermediate level or higher.
