QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement automated testing strategies for applications leveraging AI technology.

• Create and sustain automation suites for both API and UI testing.

• Assess and validate workflows powered by AI, autonomous agents, and AI-enhanced user experiences.

• Work closely with developers to uncover potential risks and enhance software quality from the onset of the development lifecycle.

• Strive for continuous improvement in automation coverage, testing methodologies, and quality benchmarks.

• Advocate for best practices in QA automation among engineering teams.

• Actively engage in Agile ceremonies and initiatives aimed at continuous enhancement.

• Aid in the integration of contemporary AI-assisted testing approaches.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in QA Automation.

• Robust experience in designing and implementing automated testing strategies.

• Practical experience with Playwright.

• Proficient programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Background in automating REST APIs.

• Experience in testing applications powered by AI is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with Stagehand, browser-use, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, or similar AI technologies is beneficial.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or above.
