QA Automation Architect / Automation Framework Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable UI automation frameworks utilizing Playwright and Selenium.

• Create frameworks that cater to multiple teams, applications, environments, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Develop reusable components for API and integration testing with Postman, GraphQL, PactumJS, and REST clients.

• Assist in document-intensive and compliance-oriented workflows, encompassing disclosure validation, OCR, and document intelligence.

• Execute automation observability that includes logging, diagnostics, flaky test detection, and trend analysis.

• Facilitate AI-driven automation for test generation, regression optimization, and failure troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in building and managing enterprise automation frameworks.

• Proficient coding skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#.

• Strong familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, or comparable frameworks.

• Proven expertise in CI/CD, preferably with Azure DevOps.

• Capability to provide tangible examples of framework design choices and associated trade-offs.

• Experience in designing frameworks that are scalable across teams, applications, and environments.

• Understanding of secure credential management practices, including the avoidance of hardcoded secrets, role-based access, secure handling of test data, pipeline security, and protection of sensitive data.

• Proven track record in minimizing flaky tests, maintaining reusable selectors, versioning framework components, adapting to application changes, and differentiating defects from automation failures.

• Experience in mortgage, lending, banking, or FinTech sectors is a plus.

• Familiarity with compliance-heavy or document-intensive workflows is advantageous.

• Experience with AI-assisted QA, Azure OpenAI, or Claude is beneficial.

• Knowledge of Azure Document Intelligence is a plus.

• Experience in optimizing regression test selection is advantageous.
