
QA Analyst – Microsoft D-365, F&O

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Analyze business requirements and user stories, converting them into test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for D365 F&O processes.
• Perform end-to-end testing across D365 F&O modules, validating configurations, customizations, security roles, and business workflows.
• Conduct smoke, sanity, functional, integration, regression, and UAT support testing for releases and hotfixes.
• Create and manage test plans and test suites utilizing Azure DevOps Test Plans or similar tools.
• Preserve test artifacts and execution evidence to ensure release readiness and audit compliance.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects; engage in defect triage; re-test fixes and confirm closure.
• Communicate test progress, defect trends, and release risks to stakeholders.
• Develop, execute, and sustain automated test suites using RSAT.
• Utilize Task Recorder assets to generate and maintain automated business process tests.
• Manage parameterization via Excel parameter files and integrate executions and results with Azure DevOps.
• Provide support for regression packs and execution cycles.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, business users, and release managers throughout sprint and release cycles.
• Assist in release validation and regression coverage for periodic updates and production deployments.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of QA documentation, test assets, processes, templates, and automation coverage.
• 5–7 years of comprehensive Quality Assurance experience, encompassing both manual and automated testing.
• Demonstrated experience in testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), or Dynamics AX with a strong exposure to F&O.
• In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and test design techniques.
• Practical experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or ALM.
• Familiarity with test automation tools, particularly RSAT.
• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to plan, design, and implement test plans that align with requirements and quality standards.
• Ability to identify, isolate, document, and track defects while verifying fixes.
• Strong documentation discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
