QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate all components of assigned applications to verify that upgrades, patches, and enhancements are entirely compatible and function effectively in production settings.

• Carry out component, system, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.

• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) in accordance with approved test cases and testing plans.

• Document, report, and monitor defects until they are resolved.

• Help in standardizing testing processes and methodologies while suggesting improvements to boost testing efficiency and quality.

• Recognize and escalate any risks encountered during testing that could affect delivery schedules.

• Perform functional, automated, security, performance, system, integration, and regression testing.

• Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, senior managers, and business users.

• Create and maintain test deliverables, including test plans, strategies, test cases, reports, and documentation for defect management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance.

• Demonstrated experience in testing FinTech software.

• Strong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and contemporary testing methodologies, especially for web applications.

• Proven capability in developing and maintaining automated tests.

• Practical experience with automated testing tools and defect-tracking systems, such as JIRA.

• Proficiency in Java or Groovy programming languages.

• Familiarity with Selenium and the Spock Framework is a plus.

• Extensive experience in defect triage, escalation management, and performing comprehensive root cause analysis.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Management.

• Willingness to work within the United States Mountain Standard Time (MST) time zone.
